Dan Brossard GHS Social Science Teacher from 1992 to 2004

In 1992 Dan came to GHS after teaching at Mount Miguel from 1974-1983, followed by Santana from 1983-1992. He retired from Grossmont in 2004. Dan was married to GHS math teacher Lorie Currie for 25 years, teaching together at GHS for 10 years. After leaving GHS, they moved to Myrtle Beach.

Dan died unexpectedly on December 17, 2024 after being diagnosed with interstitial lung disease, which the pulmonologist believed Dan had had for 5 years without knowing it. His symptoms were thought to be allergies or the after effects of having COVID twice in 2024. Our thanks to Doug for the photos
