Bill Davis
"It is with great sadness that we announce that Bill Davis, Grossmont High School Principal from 1976-1986, GHS Vice Principal from 1966-1970, El Capitan HS Principal 1970-1975, and Grossmont HS alumnus, Class of 1948, passed away on January 14th after a brief illness. After leaving GHS in 1986, Bill became GUHS District Director of Student Services where he focused on programs designed to identify and assist high-risk students to graduate. After his retirement in 1989, Bill enjoyed golfing, traveling, following his SDSU football and basketball teams, and especially spending time with his family and many lifelong friends. A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service for Bill Davis was held Monday, January 28, 2013, at Foothills United Methodist Church."
