Ruth Wolin - Class of 1953

We have been notified that our friend and classmate Ruth Topper-Wolin has passed away. She left a legacy as one of the premier Alumni Coordinators for all of Grossmont High School alumni. She and her late husband Harold helped to establish the Grossmont Alumni Association back in 1976 complete with the Summer Lunches, Reunions, and the ""Mini Annuals"". As of December 18th, there is still no formal obituary in the San Diego U/T. When one is published, it will appear here. In 2009-10 Ruth passed the torch to me to keep we Foothillers together, which is is a daunting and seemingly never ending task. With her passion, help, and guidance, we are continuing on her legacy. I'm sure I speak for all Grossmont Alumni, especially her class mates of 1953 and those that had the honor to know and work with her, she will be greatly missed.
